AI Accelerator Program

Program Overview

The AI Accelerator Program for Associations is a structured 13-week training and coaching program designed to help business-based associations and their member businesses build foundational capacity for adopting and leveraging generative AI. This program equips leaders, project sponsors, and key decision-makers from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the mindset, frameworks, and practical skills required to integrate AI into daily operations. Participants will leave with an actionable roadmap for their organization and the confidence to lead responsible AI adoption within their sector.

Program Goals

  • Build AI literacy and leadership capacity among association members.
  • Develop a shared understanding of AI-First Thinking as a driver of innovation and productivity.
  • Create organizational AI roadmaps tailored to each participant’s business context.
  • Establish sector-wide collaboration by sharing best practices, tools, and lessons learned.
  • Equip participants to lead responsible, ethical, and secure AI use within their firms.
  • Lay the foundation for ongoing peer learning and mentorship within the association.

Program Structure

The program runs over 13 weeks, combining weekly group instruction, optional deep-dive sessions, and individualized coaching. Each component reinforces applied learning and accountability without overwhelming participants.

Total Estimated Participant Time: 2.5 – 4.5 hours in sessions (0.5-1 day a week total)

Evaluation and Accountability

  • Pre- and Post-Program Surveys to assess AI confidence, adoption, and readiness.
  • Progress Tracking through submitted artifacts (use-case lists, draft policies, etc.).
  • Participant Reflections to capture insights and behavioral shifts.
  • Gamified Milestones to celebrate consistent participation and progress.
  • Capstone Evaluation reviewing each organization’s AI roadmap for completeness and alignment.

Deliverables and Outcomes

Each participating organization will complete:

  • A Starter AI Roadmap outlining next steps and priorities.
  • A Draft Safe-Use Policy reflecting responsible AI practices.
  • At least One Tested Use Case demonstrating applied learning.
  • Cross-organizational connections fostering continued collaboration post-program.

The association gains:

  • Sector-wide capacity building, empowering future peer mentors and champions.
  • Baseline insights on member readiness and potential for AI integration.
  • Reusable frameworks and resources for internal training and industry outreach.

Trainer and Facilitator Roles

Lead Facilitator: Robert Newcombe, CEO, AI-First Consulting Inc.

  • Lead instructor for all core sessions.
    • Oversight of program design, delivery, and evaluation.
    • Coordination with association leadership for reporting and outcomes.

Supporting Technical Facilitators: AI-First Consulting Developer Team

  • Delivery of select Deep Dive sessions.
    • Technical demonstrations and participant support.
    • Assistance during coaching check-ins as required.
